About this experience

We are back from our summer hiatus, recharged and ready to gather and think together again.

This session we will be reading "Radical Intimacy" by Sophie K. Rosa. As usual, the reading will be done in the room, no preparation needed.

There will also be baked goods from Nourish the Soul Panadería and coffee by Maravilla Coffee Bar available for purchase.

Following our exploration of care last session through Bernard Stiegler's "What Is Called Caring?," this session turns toward intimacy—not as romance or private feeling, but as a political and social practice.

Sophie K. Rosa asks us to consider how capitalism shapes our relationships, our families, our friendships, our homes, and our capacity to care for one another. If care is something that must be protected, then intimacy becomes the space where care is enacted and sustained. 

Together, we will explore what kinds of relationships make life possible, what forms of belonging remain undervalued, and what it might mean to become infrastructure for one another in a time of fragmentation, loneliness, and uncertainty.
